Theme:
The concept here is based around retro graphics, more loosely around retro video games. The game is themed around a city-scape focused on a dock-side factory. Back-story (Technical):
Isometric and pixel art have become increasingly popular (even to the masses) given the advent of the likes of SimCity, Farmville, StarCraft to name but a few. In conjunction with these and borrowing from such inspiration as the artworks of Eboy, ArmyOfTrolls, and Disney’s upcoming Wreck-It Ralph, Arcadia i3D captures some of the charms of old sprite-based arcade games and presents them in a very contemporary medium.
Uniquely this video slot uses reels effectively rotated through 60° and all symbols obey strict isometry giving a faux 3D effect in environ. This is enhanced by reels actually running in the isometric plane. This game fits into what used to be a niche interest but that is rapidly becoming more mainstream.
