It will come as no surprise that Book of Darkness is a book-style mechanic slot, as is evident in the title, but, BetSoft has shaken the gameplay up a bit with extra features than the usual Free Spins Feature with only expanding symbols. Book of Darkness makes use of the Book of Darkness Wild/Scatter. As a Wild, it substitutes for all symbols (except when in a combination of the Huntress and Dark Wizard Symbols) to form potential winning combinations.
As a Scatter, you need land 3-5 Book of Darkness Wild/Scatters to trigger the Free Spins Feature, awarding 10, 15, and 20 free spins, respectively. Typical to the book-style mechanic, a random symbol will be selected for you from the book. This symbol will act as a special symbol in the feature. Every time it lands, it will expand, awarding a payout.
If you land the Huntress Symbol and the Dark Wizard Symbol together with the Book of Darkness Wild/Scatter in between them in a straight line, the Clash for Power Feature is triggered, awarding an infinite amount of free spins. You will need to choose who you think will win the battle between the Huntress and the Dark Wizard.
